Stand up comedian Sarah Silverman followed a similar path as comic peer Amy Schumer. As with Schumer, Silverman uses sexuality, and her struggle with it in society as a basis for her comedy. in as a comedy routine. Both very good, sometimes indifferent and sometimes bad, Silverman has helped dispel the ridiculious myth that women cannot be funny as well.

Unlike Schumer, Sarah Silverman has dabbled in drama a couple of times, taking roles in a few indies.
