Fake news, is it really?
Attempting to get in front of the ever expanding Russia controversy, Donald Trump took to Twitter to set things straight once and for all. This courtesy of CNN, who held the door while Obama and Biden slipped inside:
“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”
While US history is rife with examples of the government wiretapping private citizens, notably John Lennon during the early 1970s, critics remain skeptical this even happened. Taking a play from the book “Joseph Stalin’s 100 Ways to Run a Successful Government,”Trump didn’t offer any evidence to back up his claim, confident his word was his bond, the same word he used when he had never met a number of people that photo evidence said he had.
Notable presidential apologist J. Pervis LuWanda noted, “At least, Mr.Trump believes it and that’s what’s important. If this president thing doesn’t workout he can always get a job in the “Fake News” media.
While Washington chews on this, the hope of tomorrow will a new chance for Donald Trump to send out an even stupider Tweet. The “Fake News” Media rests easy. Trump is far better at the fake news.
